Markdown versions of documentation pages are available by appending `.md` to page URLs; this page is available as [Markdown](https://galactic-bridge.gitbook.io/galactic-bridge-docs/saved-tokens.md). # Saved tokens Saving a token lets you reuse it by ticker and skips the search entirely on later visits. ## Adding a token Press **+** next to the token field to open the token window, paste a contract address and press **SEARCH**. The bridge scans for every network where that token exists and lists them with their addresses. Uncheck any you do not need, then press **ADD CUSTOM TOKEN**. ## Using a saved token Type the ticker into the token field — `OPG` rather than the full address. A bookmark icon appears next to the balance to confirm the token was recognised. Once saved, the network dropdowns show only the networks that token actually exists on, and searches become much faster: the bridge already knows the contract for each side and skips discovery. ## Where they are stored Saved tokens live in your **browser's local storage**. Nothing is sent to any server, and no account is involved. The practical consequences: * clearing browser data removes them; * they do not follow you to another browser or device; * nobody else can see what you have saved. ## Updating a saved token If a token gains a new network after you saved it, the saved record will not know about it. Delete the token with **DEL** and add it again — the new scan will pick up every current network. --- # Agent Instructions This documentation is published with GitBook.
